Job summary

GENO Management is seeking a detail-oriented Technical Writer to develop clear, accurate, and user-friendly documentation for our software and technical products. You will work with engineering, product, and support teams to translate complex information into structured content for both technical and non-technical users.

Based on location in Malaysia, the role is onsite at Imazium, Uptown Damansara. Salary ranges from RM3,500 to RM6,000 monthly with standard benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in CS/IT/Eng/Communications or related field.
• Minimum 2 years in technical writing, preferably software/IT.
• Excellent written communication with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences.
• Familiarity with APIs and system documentation; basic programming knowledge (Python/JS/C#) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain technical docs such as user guides, SOPs, API docs, installation manuals, release notes, and knowledge bases.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, QA, and support to gather accurate information.
• Translate complex tech concepts into clear, structured documents.
• Review and update existing documentation for accuracy and consistency.
• Maintain documentation repositories and version control; ensure proper organization.
• Follow internal style guides and quality standards; participate in product discussions.
