Job summary

Social Bee Sdn Bhd is seeking a detail-oriented Technical Writer to create clear, structured documentation for our software products. The role collaborates with technical and product teams to translate complex information into accessible content for end users and internal stakeholders.

This on-site, full-time position in Damansara Uptown offers growth opportunities, an 8:30am–5:30pm schedule, and benefits such as health insurance and professional development; 2+ years in software documentation

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Communications, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in technical writing, preferably in software or IT environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts.
• Familiarity with software development concepts, APIs, and system workflows.
• Basic understanding of programming languages (e.g., C#, JavaScript, Python) is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple documentation tasks efficiently.
• Good collaboration skills and ability to work with technical and non-technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Create, edit, and maintain technical documentation such as user manuals, SOPs, API documentation, installation guides, and release notes.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, QA, and support teams to gather accurate technical information.
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise, and user-friendly content.
• Maintain and organize documentation repositories, knowledge bases, and internal resources.
• Review and edit documentation to ensure accuracy, consistency, and clarity.
• Ensure all documentation complies with company writing standards and style guidelines.
• Participate in product discussions and release reviews to stay updated on system changes and new features.
• Continuously improve documentation structure, usability, and delivery processes.
