Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a CMM Programmer in Shah Alam to support precision measurements for casting and machining parts.

The role welcomes diploma graduates with 1–2 years of manufacturing experience and ability to interpret mechanical drawings. Training may be provided, with opportunities to contribute to process improvements.

Qualifications

Diploma in Engineering is required.
Diploma fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
1–2 years of manufacturing experience preferred.
Ability to interpret mechanical drawings is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

Prepare advance CMM programming for casting/machining parts.
Prepare dimension identifications on drawings.
Convert CAD data to CMM for measurements (Windows only).
Measure casting and machining parts.
Identify and re-measure NG dimensions.
Identify and prepare CMM jig concept design.
Feedback NG dimensions to Development Engineer and process owner.
Check/compare old and new cavity parts.
Convert Windows based CMM program to DOS based.

Responsibility

Core Duty

To prepare advance CMM programming for casting/machining parts
To prepare dimension identification (ID) on drawing
To receive and convert CAD data to CMM for measuring preparation (windows only) for hog-outs, casting part and high complexity parts
To measure casting and machining parts
To identify and re-measure for NG dimensions
To identify and prepare CMM jigs concept design
To feedback NG dimensions to Development Engineer and process owner for process improvement
To check/compare old and new revision - old new cavity parts
To convert windows base CMM program to DOS base
