Job summary

Tonasco in Malaysia is seeking a Diploma holder in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering to operate CMMs and interpret GD&T. You will join a quality team dedicated to accuracy and continuous improvement.

You will perform inspections (FAI/IPQC/Final QC), generate reports, mentor junior staff, and maintain inspection records while ensuring compliance with ISO quality standards. Training provided; 5 working days and benefits.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical / Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
• Min 2 years of experience operating CMM; ZEISS Calypso knowledge is a plus.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and GD&T.
• Basic knowledge of ISO quality standards.
• Good problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform stylus calibration and CMM setup before measurement.
• Run CMM inspections for FAI, IPQC, and Final QC as per planning.
• Generate and verify CMM measurement reports.
• Provide feedback to CMM programmers on measurements/issues.
• Guide junior staff to ensure inspection accuracy and compliance.
• Conduct 5S activities and routine machine maintenance.
• Interpret drawings including GD&T requirements.
• Support production in troubleshooting dimensional issues.
• Maintain inspection records and ensure compliance with quality standards.
