Job summary

Malaysian Die-Casting Industries in Shah Alam is looking for a Diploma holder to support CMM programming and measurement tasks in our manufacturing environment. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply, with 1-2 years of manufacturing experience welcomed.

You will interpret mechanical drawings, prepare CMM programs, convert CAD data for measurement, and assist process improvement with Development Engineering and QA teams. Training provided, 5 working days.

Qualifications

Diploma in engineering discipline and related field.
Diploma fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
1-2 years working experience in a Manufacturing environment is preferred.
Ability to interpret technical (mechanical) drawings is an added advantage.
Preferable experience with Microsoft Excel and be computer literate.

Responsibilities

To prepare advance CMM programming for casting/machining parts.
To prepare dimension identification (ID) on drawing.
To receive and convert CAD data to CMM for measuring preparation (Windows-based) for hog-outs, casting parts and high complexity parts.
To measure casting and machining parts.
To identify and re-measure NG dimensions.
To identify and prepare CMM jigs concept design.
To feedback NG dimensions to Development Engineer and process owner for improvement.
To check/compare old and new cavity parts.
To convert Windows-based CMM program to DOS-based.
