Job summary

Malaysian Die-Casting Industries in Shah Alam seeks a Diploma holder with 1-2 years manufacturing experience to support CMM programming and dimensional measurement for casting and machining parts.

You will interpret mechanical drawings, convert CAD data for CMM setup, and assist in process improvements by reporting NG dimensions to the Development Engineer.

Qualifications

Diploma in Engineering required or equivalent relevant field.
Diploma fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
1-2 years working experience in manufacturing environment.
Ability to interpret mechanical drawings is an added advantage.
Preferable experience with Microsoft Excel and computer literacy.

Responsibilities

Prepare advance CMM programming for casting/machining parts.
Prepare dimension identification (ID) on drawing.
Convert CAD data to CMM for measuring preparation (Windows-based).
Measure casting and machining parts.
Identify and re-measure NG dimensions.
Identify and prepare CMM jig concept designs.
Feed NG dimensions back to Development Engineer and process owner for improvement.
Check/compare old and new cavities for parts.

Core Duty

To prepare advance CMM programming for casting/machining parts
To prepare dimension identification (ID) on drawing
To receive and convert CAD data to CMM for measuring preparation (windows only) for hog-outs, casting part and high complexity parts
To measure casting and machining parts
To identify and re-measure for NG dimensions
To identify and prepare CMM jigs concept design
To feedback NG dimensions to Development Engineer and process owner for process improvement
To check/compare old and new revision - old new cavity parts
To convert windows base CMM program to DOS base
