Job summary

Jora Malaysia in Shah Alam is seeking a detail-oriented CMM Programmer / Manufacturing Technician to support casting and machining parts. You will prepare advanced CMM programs, identify dimensions on drawings, and convert CAD data for measurement setups.

Fresh Diploma graduates are encouraged to apply, with 1–2 years of manufacturing experience preferred. Proficiency in Excel is desirable, and there is opportunity for training and process improvement.

Qualifications

Diploma in Engineering is required.
Fresh graduates encouraged to apply.
1–2 years manufacturing experience preferred.
Able to interpret technical (mechanical) drawings is an added advantage.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and computer literate.

Responsibilities

To prepare advance CMM programming for casting/machining parts
To prepare dimension identification (ID) on drawing
To receive and convert CAD data to CMM for measuring preparation (windows only) for hog-outs, casting part and high complexity parts
To measure casting and machining parts
To identify and re-measure for NG dimensions
To identify and prepare CMM jigs concept design
To feedback NG dimensions to Development Engineer and process owner for process improvement
To check/compare old and new revision - old new cavity parts
To convert windows base CMM program to DOS base
