Job summary

Themetech International (M) Sdn Bhd invites a qualified engineer to manage M&E projects at Kulim High Tech Park, Kedah. The role focuses on site construction management, technical pass-down, and schedule control to ensure on-time, quality project delivery.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, at least 2 years of site construction experience, and proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office. The position is based in Kedah with permanent employment prospects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is required.
• Minimum 2 years in site construction management; ability to lead technical discussions and coordinate with clients.
• Proactive, flexible, responsible with good teamwork and under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Participate in project bidding from a technical perspective (material take-off).
• Conduct site surveys and monitor project schedule.
• Pass down technical, process & schedule details to construction team with official records signed by engineers and workers.
• Study drawings, verify size, elevation, materials and specifications; manage site construction per plan and report issues.
• Verify drawings and changes with design engineers; respond to client site instructions.
• Monitor material stock levels and ensure smooth installation; report to supervisor and propose timely solutions.

Job description

Participate in project bidding from the aspect of technical (material take-off). Do site survey as per requirement

Responsible to monitor project schedule. Technical pass down for construction process flow, perform technical, process & schedule related discussion & communication with client to avoid site construction problem

Work-out project execution plan & related detail work plan/ method of statement according to company's regulation.

Perform technical pass-down to all site workers according to construction work plan/ method of statement and acceptance criteria. All technical pass-down shall be kept official record with signature by both engineers & workers.

Take responsible to his scope of management, study construction drawings, get to know detail requirement in size, elevation, material of construction and material specification. Perform site construction management by follow strictly to design drawings, construction work plan/ method of statement. Report to superior and propose solution to solve site problem in time.

Fix quality management target & quality control measurement, monitor and follow up quality control work along the whole project.

Help the manager to monitor and manage site construction work from aspect of technical, quality and safety.

Responsible to verify construction drawings and changes of work scope. Communicate with design engineer for any design related problem

Response to site instruction from client

Check and monitor material stock level to endure smooth site installation process.

Completing additional tasks arranged by superior.

Requirement:

Bachelor Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

Project management related training

2 years and above in site construction management

Familiar with AUTO CAD, Office and other related computer software

Proactive, flexibly adapt to changes, responsibility, integrity.

Good working attitude, able to keep good working condition under stress, good team player
