Job summary

Businesslist is seeking a field-based technical support professional to assist customers with vision inspection machine systems on site in Batu Kawan. You will handle setup, maintenance and troubleshooting at customer premises, and share knowledge with customers and channel partners.

The ideal candidate has a science/engineering background, relevant diploma, and a customer-focused mindset, with willingness to travel and adapt to long, irregular hours when required.

Qualifications

• Background in Science and Engineering (Electrical & Electronics, Mechatronics, Mechanical or CS)
• Experience in customer service and support for vision inspection machines
• Diploma holders with relevant working experience will be considered
• Customer-oriented mindset
• Own transport and willing to travel when required
• Flexible, responsive and able to work long and irregular hours if required

• Supporting customers on technical challenges for vision inspection machine system setup, maintenance and troubleshooting at customer premises
• Provide knowledge transfer to customers or sales channel partners on system setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting skills
• Work closely with the R&D Team on quality and design related improvement based on customer feedback

Key Qualifications

• Background in Science and Engineering. Preferably in Engineering (Electrical & Electronics / Mechatronics / Mechanical), Computer Science / Studies, Science & Technology or equivalent
• Experience in customer service and support for vision inspection machines is an added advantage
• Diploma holders with relevant working experience will be considered
• Customer-oriented behaviour and mindset
• Possess own transport and willing to travel when required
• Flexible, responsive and able to work long and irregular hours if required
