Job summary

REDPYNE SDN. BHD. in Malaysia seeks a technically focused technician to perform basic troubleshooting, inspection and rectification of telecom equipment.

You will install, configure and test gear, monitor performance and report faults, collaborating with team members, contractors and clients to keep projects on schedule. Travel to project sites, support CPE installations, prepare site progress updates and maintain documentation.

Job description

Perform basic troubleshooting, inspection and rectification of technical issues.

Work closely with team members, contractors and clients to ensure smooth workflow and timely task completion.

Support project execution and implementation under the supervision of the ProjectEngineer or Head of Department.

Assist with installation, configuration and testing activities of telecommunication equipment.

Monitor equipment performance and report faults or abnormalities.

Assist and managing CPE installation and completion from vendor team and client until full PAC.

Assisting Project Engineer on SATP documentation for Conditional PAC and Full PAC.

Prepare and present technical reports, site progress updates, equipment status and issue reports to relevant stakeholders and management.

Maintain documentation related to materials used, job completion and handover reports.

Follow safety procedures and technical standards at all time.

Perform other technical duties as assigned by the supervisor or management.

Requirements:

Certificate, Diploma or equivalent qualification in Telecommunications, Electrical or related technical field.

Minimum 2 years experience.

Basic knowledge/experience of telecommunications/networking systems is an advantage.

Good troubleshooting and problem solving skills.

Willing to travel to project sites and work in the field when required.

Able to work independently as well as in team.

Possess a valid driving license.

Good communication and reporting skills (Microsoft Office)

Willing to learn and develop technical skills in the RAN environment.
