Job summary

MayAir Manufacturing (M) Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Technical Support Assistant to assist the engineering team with maintaining product information, drawings, and documentation.

You will work with internal teams to ensure accurate technical data and smooth daily operations. Responsibilities include BOM creation, drawing support, and data management, plus collaboration on revision control and general technical tasks.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering or related field required.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience preferred; fresh graduates are welcome.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD is expected.
• Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia, English and Mandarin is required to communicate with China counterparts.

Responsibilities

• BOM creation, maintenance and updates in PLM and SAP systems.
• Prepare, revise and maintain technical and commercial drawings.
• Maintain product specifications, master data and technical documentation.
• Track document revisions and coordinate release of updated information.

What You'll Be Doing

BOM Creation & Maintenance – Create, update, and maintain Bills of Materials (BOM) in PLM and SAP systems.

Technical Drawing Support – Prepare, revise, and maintain technical and commercial drawings.

Documentation & Data Management – Maintain product specifications, master data, and technical documentation.

Revision & Information Coordination – Track document revisions and coordinate the release of updated technical information to relevant teams.

General Technical Support – Assist the engineering team with other tasks and projects to support smooth daily operations.

What You'll Need

Must Have

Diploma in Engineering or any related field.

1–2 years of relevant experience is preferred.

Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

Proficient in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.

Proficient in Bahasa Malaysia, English, and Mandarin (required to communicate with China counterparts)

Good to Have

Good communication and coordination skills with the ability to work effectively across different departments.

Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.

Organized and able to manage technical documents and data accurately.
