Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Technical Store Executive to oversee store and inventory management. Responsibilities include handling loading, unloading, receiving, labeling, and picking, while monitoring stock levels and logistics performance.

Candidates should have a degree in business or engineering, plus relevant certificates and 1–2 years of experience. Applicants without a related degree must have at least 5 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Applicant must hold a degree in business/engineering or equivalent.
• Certificate in Warehouse Management System, Inventory Control, Stock Count & Reporting is an advantage.
• Experience in related fields (1–2 years).
• Applicants without related academic qualification must have at least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to analyse inventory replenishment & budgeting needs.

Responsibilities

• Handle all warehouse tasks: loading/unloading, receiving, issuing, labeling, sorting, picking and repacking.
• Monitor and improve delivery and supply performance and related logistics processes.
• Track quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times and costs.
• Verify packing lists against purchase orders for accuracy.
• Ensure safe handling/storage of parts, consumables, chemicals, WIP, returns, and slow-moving items.
• Maintain FIFO Compliance in warehousing activities.
• Prepare return shipments to vendors and complete RMA paperwork as needed.
• Ensure safe and efficient use of warehouse equipment.
• Maintain housekeeping and compliance with safety regulations and store procedures.
• Manage loan/return of tools and equipment.
• Motivate and supervise staff and track fleet location.
• Ensure awareness of inventory conditions and locations.

Technical Store Executive - Store & Inventory Management

• * Minimum a Degree in any Business/Engineering Discipline, or, its equivalent.
• * Any other certificate in Warehouse Management System, Inventory Control, Stock Count & Reporting is an advantage.
• * Minimum 1 -2 yearsof working experience in related fields.
• * Candidate without related academic qualification must have at least 5years of working experience in relevant field.
• * Ability to analyse & address inventory replenishment needs & annual budgeting to meet organizational needs.
• * Prior usage of SAP/Aribasystem will be added advantage.
• * Knowledge in OSHA safety rules for warehouse work.
• * Must possess good English & Bahasa Malaysia listening & understanding, speaking, reading and writing skills.
• * Proficient of MS-Office (MS-Word, MS-Excel, MS-PowerPoint, MS-Outlook).

Job Responsibilities

• * Responsible to all assigned warehouse tasks, which include timely processing of goods loading, unloading, receiving, issuing, labelling, sorting, picking & repacking of materials.
• * Monitor performance, develop plans to improve the delivery & supply performance as well as all planned logistic processes & implement measures for improvements.
• * Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs & efficiency
• * Compare packing lists to company purchase orders and ensure that the products in each delivery match the packing list.
• * Ensuring proper handling & storage of spare parts, consumables, chemicals & scheduled wastes, WIP & returned materials, KIV, scrap & slow-moving items.
• * Ensuring warehousing activities comply with the FIFO system.
• * Package products for return to vendors and fill out any RMA paperwork necessary prior to the shipment being picked up.
• * Ensuring effective and safe use of warehouse equipment.
• * Ensuring proper housekeeping of stores, compliance with the local authorities on safety & health requirements & established store procedures.
• * Managing loan & return of tools & equipment.
• * Motivating and disciplining staff.
• * Maintaining awareness and knowledge of condition and location of fleet vehicles.
