Job summary

Planet Telecoms in Malaysia is seeking a proactive Junior Inventory Executive to support daily warehouse operations and ensure inventory accuracy. You will coordinate with 3PL warehouses, logistics partners and stakeholders to maintain smooth stock movement.

Responsibilities

• Monitor receiving and stock transfer TAT aligned to SLAs.
• Verify incoming stocks against IMEIs and delivery docs.
• Ensure 100% accuracy of IMEI/serial scanning before posting.
• Conduct monthly and quarterly stock counts.
• Reconcile physical and system inventory and report variances.
• Coordinate daily with 3PL warehouse and manage POSM distribution.
• Maintain 5S standards in inventory/storage areas.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs and inventory procedures.

We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented and hands-on Junior Inventory Executive to support daily warehouse operations. This role is responsible for ensuring inventory accuracy, smooth stock movement and effective coordination with 3PL warehouses, logistics partners and internal/external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

Monitor receiving and internal stock transfer TAT in line with SLAs.

Verify incoming stocks against supplier IMEIs, delivery documents and report discrepancies.

Ensure 100% accuracy of IMEI / serial number scanning before system posting.

Conduct and support monthly and quarterly stock counts.

Reconcile physical and system inventory, investigate variances, and report findings.

Ensure compliance with inventory procedures, controls, and SOPs.

Coordinate daily with outsourced 3PL warehouse and manage POSM distribution to retail outlets.

Maintain 5S standards in inventory and storage areas.

About you

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or a related field.

Min. 2 years of experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, logistics, or fulfilment coordination.

Experience working with 3PL providers and warehouse operations is preferred.

Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency in MS Excel for analysis, reconciliation and reporting (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).

Familiarity with ERP/WMS systems is an added advantage.

Good communication and stakeholder management abilities.

High level of integrity, hands-on, proactive and committed.

Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Flexible, adaptable and willing to support operations outside normal working hours if required.
