We are looking for a driven Technical Service Representative to support our customers in the oil & gas industry. This role will focus on conducting analytical testing, providing technical support, monitoring water treatment systems, and ensuring accurate reporting and service delivery at customer sites.
Provide technical and analytical support to customers within the oil & gas industry.
Conduct routine chemistry and analytical tests related to water treatment and industrial processes.
Collect, analyse, record and report test results accurately.
Identify and troubleshoot customer issues, escalating technical concerns where required.
Monitor and maintain chemical treatment programmes and product inventories.
Install, calibrate and maintain chemical feed and process monitoring equipment.
Support start-ups and implementation of new applications at existing and new customer accounts.
Maintain accurate service records and ensure compliance with safety and operational procedures.
Work closely with Sales Representatives and internal teams to address customer requirements.
Diploma/Degree in Chemistry or a related field.
At least 2 years of experience in analytical/laboratory-related work, preferably within the oil & gas industry.
Experience with chemical analysis, testing and data reporting is preferred.
Familiarity with industrial water treatment systems, cooling towers, chillers or boilers is an added advantage.
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to customer sites.
Strong analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.
