Mettler-Toledo, Inc. is seeking a results-driven sales professional in Penang, Malaysia to drive customer engagement and lead generation. The role involves coordinating with field sales, managing the sales pipeline, and maintaining CRM records with a proactive, customer-focused approach.

You will develop targeted campaigns, stay current on MT products, and collaborate with marketing and cross-functional teams to meet revenue goals and improve the sales process.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in any discipline; chemical/chemical engineering preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of working experience.
• Strong interpersonal skills and influencing ability.
• Self-starter with proactive approach.
• Preferred: 2+ years in a technical sales environment.
• Understanding of sales & distribution with intermediate project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Engage customers, generate leads, and coordinate with field sales to schedule visits with target clients.
• Prospect and qualify new leads via outbound calls, emails, and inbound inquiries; tailor pitches to customer needs.
• Maintain accurate CRM records, track sales activities, and collaborate with marketing to optimize strategies and pipeline.
• Conduct outbound prospecting and manage sales cycles from contact to closure with cross-functional teams.
• Maintain timely records of all sales activities and client interactions in the CRM system.
• Develop and execute targeted campaigns reflecting MT's core values for customer needs.
• Provide timely reports on pipeline, market trends, and competitor activity to sales leadership.
