Job summary

PERSOL Workforce Solutions Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking a Customer Engineer (Technical Sales & Project Coordination) to bridge technical sales and project delivery in a contract role. You will prepare quotations, review specifications, and coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing, and Costing teams to ensure successful outcomes.

The position requires a Mechanical/Industrial/Manufacturing engineering background with 3–5 years in technical sales support or project coordination, plus

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Manufacturing, Process, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 3-5 years of experience in: Technical Sales Support, Customer Engineering, Project Coordination, Sales Operations, Application Engineering or Manufacturing Coordination
• Strong communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills

Responsibilities

• Technical Sales & Proposal Support: Prepare technical quotations, commercial proposals, and tender submissions.
• Review customer specifications, engineering drawings, and project requirements.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing, and Costing teams.
• Support technical clarification and proposal revisions throughout the sales cycle.
• Customer & Order Management: Act as the key liaison between customers and internal teams; monitor order progress and delivery commitments.
• Provide timely updates to customers on project milestones and delivery status; resolve inquiries and coordinate issue resolution.
• Customer Success & After-Sales Support: Handle warranty claims and RMA cases; coordinate investigations with Engineering, QA/QC, and Production.
• Marketing & Event Coordination: Coordinate exhibitions, events, and product demonstrations; assist with lead generation and follow-up.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with Sales, Engineering, Manufacturing, QA/QC, Procurement and Logistics to ensure requirements are met.
