Job summary

PERSOL is seeking a Customer Engineer (Technical Sales & Project Coordination) for a 12-month contract in Malaysia. The role involves technical sales support, proposal preparation, and close collaboration with engineering, procurement, manufacturing, and costing teams to meet customer specifications and delivery milestones.

Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering and have 3–5 years of experience in related fields, with strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Manufacturing, Process, Industrial Engineering, or related discipline.
• 3–5 years of experience in: Technical Sales Support, Customer Engineering, Project Coordination, Sales Operations, Application Engineering or Manufacturing Coordination.
• Strong communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills.
• Industry experience in Oil & Gas, Cryogenic Systems, Process Engineering, Piping Systems, Pressure Equipment, Industrial Manufacturing, Fabrication.

Responsibilities

• Technical Sales & Proposal Support: Prepare technical quotations, commercial proposals, and tender submissions.
• Customer & Order Management: Act as the liaison between customers and internal teams; monitor order progress and delivery commitments.
• Customer Success & After-Sales Support: Handle warranty claims and coordinate investigations with Engineering, QA/QC, and Production teams.
• Marketing & Event Coordination: Coordinate exhibitions, events, and demonstrations; support lead generation and follow-up.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with Sales, Engineering, Manufacturing, QA/QC, Procurement, and Logistics to meet customer requirements.
