Job summary

Randstad Malaysia is seeking a high-performing technical sales professional to drive new business for certified explosion-proof panels and CNC enclosures, targeting EPCC contractors, O&G plants, and petrochemical facilities. You will present technical solutions, negotiate terms, collaborate with proposals team, and mentor junior staff.

Willingness to travel for on-site visits and factory walkthroughs is required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics) or Business with technical sales experience.
• 4+ years of B2B sales experience in Oil & Gas, petrochemical, or industrial engineering.
• Proven track record of hitting sales targets and closing industrial projects.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and proactive hunting skills.
• Willing to travel for on-site client visits and factory walkthroughs.

Responsibilities

• Prospect, pitch, and close sales with EPCC contractors, Oil & Gas, and chemical processing plants.
• Deliver technical presentations on explosion-proof electrical assemblies and custom CNC enclosures.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and project margins to secure profitable deals.
• Partner with the proposal engineering team to develop accurate client quotes and solutions.
• Monitor client accounts, manage relationship retention, and mentor junior sales staff.
