Job summary

Private Advertiser in Selangor, Malaysia, seeks a Sales Engineer / Sales Executive to bridge technical solutions with client business needs and drive revenue growth through consultative selling.

You will promote industrial equipment, valves and instrumentation, develop new opportunities, conduct site visits, prepare proposals, and coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to fulfill orders.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in engineering or business-related fields.
• 1-3 years of experience in engineering or technical sales.
• Knowledge of Electrical, Mechanical, Instrumentation, or industrial valves is an advantage.
• Experience in technical sales, industrial equipment, instrumentation, or engineering services is an added advantage.
• Good communication, negotiation and customer relationship management skills.
• Willingness to travel for customer visits and site assignments.
• Possess a valid driving licence and own transport.
• Fresh graduates with a strong interest in technical sales and engineering products are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business opportunities and maintain relationships with existing customers in the industrial, oil & gas, petrochemical, manufacturing, and building facilities sectors.
• Promote and sell industrial equipment, instrumentation, valves, engineering consumables, and equipment servicing solutions.
• Handle products including manual valves, control valves, rupture discs, breather valves, flame arrestors, instrumentation, and other process plant equipment.
• Develop sales opportunities for rotating equipment servicing, repair, and maintenance for industrial facilities and high-rise buildings.
• Prepare quotations, proposals, and tender submissions, and follow up on customer enquiries and sales opportunities.
• Conduct customer visits, site inspections, and technical discussions to understand customer requirements and recommend suitable solutions.
• Coordinate with suppliers, service teams, and internal departments to ensure smooth order and service execution.
• Achieve sales targets and develop long-term customer relationships.
