Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Instrumentation Engineering required or equivalent.
• 2 to 5 years of experience in technical sales, industrial sales, application engineering, or a customer-facing engineering role (preferred).
• Established sales experience and customer networks within the industrial market encouraged.
• Experience in industrial instrumentation, mechanical products, process equipment, or automation is advantageous.
• Fresh graduates who are technically inclined and interested in an industrial sales career are welcome.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles and ability to interpret technical specifications and customer requirements.
• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Self-motivation and results-orientation; ability to work independently and with teams.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites; valid driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Engage with industrial customers to establish technical requirements and applications.
• Recommend instrumentation, mechanical products, equipment, and solutions based on customer needs.
• Undertake site visits, technical discussions, product demonstrations, and presentations as required.
• Acquire comprehensive knowledge of product portfolio, specifications, advantages and limitations.
• Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support to customers.
• Assist with product selection, application requirements, troubleshooting, and inquiries.
• Conduct product demonstrations, training sessions, and technical presentations.
