Job summary

Atomic Recruitment SEA in Selangor, Malaysia, is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer for industrial equipment. You will expand the customer base, understand technical needs, and propose robust solutions across industrial sectors.

The role requires a degree in engineering, 3–5 years in industrial sales, and strong English; Mandarin is an advantage. You will collaborate with internal teams to ensure orders, quotations and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years of sales experience in industrial equipment, capital equipment or related industries.
• Experience with compressed air systems, industrial utilities, pumps, blowers, HVAC or chillers is a strong advantage.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and developing new business opportunities.
• Strong communication and presentation skills with good command of English; Mandarin/Chinese is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Achieve sales targets by promoting industrial equipment and solutions in the assigned market.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities, generate leads and convert prospects into sales.
• Build and maintain relationships with existing customers, new accounts and key industry stakeholders.
• Understand customer applications and technical requirements to recommend equipment and solutions.
• Prepare quotations, deliver product presentations, negotiate terms and close orders.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal technical, service and operations teams to ensure order execution and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate sales pipelines and customer records.
• Support promotional activities and other sales initiatives to strengthen market presence.
