Job summary

Symphony Engineering Sdn Bhd is seeking a project coordinator to manage and schedule automation projects in Melaka, coordinating with customers and internal teams. The role involves planning, risk management, and ensuring on-time delivery, with travel to customer sites as required.

Ideal candidates have a relevant bachelor’s degree and strong MS Office skills, plus willingness to work extra hours when needed. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply and training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Receive and schedule projects, addressing potential risks.

• Handle additional tasks as assigned.

We also provide other customized automation solutions to customers around South East Asia.

Job Description:

• 1. Receive and schedule projects, addressing potential risks.
• 2. Communicate project details and scope to teams and customer.
• 3. Share, manage, and review project plans for timely execution.
• 4. Monitor tasks, implement recovery plans if needed, and ensure adherence to specs.
• 5. Work with procurement team to ensure materials delivered on time. Collaborate and plan on changes, and gain customer approval.
• 6. Plan smooth installations with field service manager and oversee customer acceptance.
• 7. Monitor actions during customer installation and provide final documentation.
• 8. To prepare, arrange and present the onsite project status to customer.
• 9. Any tasks that may be assigned to you from time to time.

Requirements:

• 1. Bachelor’s Degree in any field or equivalent.
• 2. Knowledge and skills for project management is adding advantages.
• 3. Required language(s): English, Chinese and Bahasa Malaysia. Knowledge of writing in Chinese will be an added advantage.
• 4. Good computer literacy and excellent Microsoft Office (PowerPoint and Excel).
• 5. Willing to work in Melaka and travel to customer site (oversea/ local) when required.
• 6. Willing to work extra hours and support on weekend or public holiday if required.
• 7. Display strong leadership within the team.
