Job summary

TIME dotCom Berhad seeks a Technical Pre-Sales Engineer to manage technical aspects of the sales cycle, determine requirements, and map them to company services. You will explain solutions clearly to customers to drive buy-in and revenue.

You will present to prospects, qualify opportunities with sales, and develop high-level designs leveraging telco services, SDWAN, and cybersecurity offerings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Networking, Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Network Services, Security Services and Cloud Services.
• Solid knowledge of Routing & Switching, SDWAN, Cybersecurity services and Telco products.
• Good understanding of SOC services, MDR, EDR, Threat Intelligence and cybersecurity services.

Responsibilities

• Support the sales team to secure business prospects and increase revenue.
• Qualify sales opportunities with prospects to determine product fit, size and probability of success.
• Conduct presentations with customers.
• Assist in expanding and maximizing sales opportunities.
• Perform needs analysis with prospect technical staff to determine requirements and solutions.
• Develop high-level design and architecture of prospect solutions based on sizing, resiliency and best practices.
• Leverage in-house telco services and customization to develop solutions for customers.
• Prepare RFP/RFI/Proposals/HLD, design solutions, train, manage projects, and plan.
