Job summary

PLTPRO Data Centre Malaysia is seeking a permanent Presales Engineer based in Cyberjaya. You will work closely with the sales team to understand client requirements and design solutions that align with PLTPRO’s data centre, cloud, cybersecurity, and disaster recovery offerings.

Responsibilities include preparing solution architectures, delivering product demonstrations, responding to RFPs/RFQs, and supporting technical discussions with customers.

Qualifications

• Strong presales and sales-related skills including solution scoping, proposal development, and client presentations.
• Technical support and integration skills to troubleshoot, validate solutions, and coordinate with teams.
• Security-focused knowledge, security-by-design concepts, and relevant standards or best practices.
• Knowledge of data centre, cloud computing and disaster recovery concepts including colocation and hybrid cloud.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to explain complex concepts to diverse stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to documenting requirements and designing solutions.
• Relevant certifications (networking, cloud, cybersecurity, or data centre operations) and enterprise IT experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design solution architectures aligned with PLTPRO offerings and client needs.
• Prepare solution demonstrations and respond to RFPs/RFQs for prospects.
• Support technical discussions with customers and assist during proofs-of-concept activities.
