Qualifications

• Diploma or Certificate in Engineering Technology, Manufacturing, or related field.
• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Documentation Control: maintain and update technical records, blueprints, ECNs/ECOs, and maintenance logs.
• Data Management: enter and manage production performance data in ERP/MES.
• Logistics & Scheduling: coordinate procurement of technical supplies and spare parts; prepare reports for engineering.
• Process Optimization: analyze manufacturing processes to reduce bottlenecks and scrap.
• Root Cause Analysis: lead investigations using 5 Whys and Fishbone diagrams.
• Project Execution: manage small to mid-scale technical projects with budget adherence.
• Standards Adherence: ensure compliance with internal quality standards and IATF 16949.
• Technical Support: assist production operators with equipment operation and troubleshooting.

Technical Assistant - Technical Executive

Technical Documentation & Administration (Core Assistant Functions)

• Documentation Control: Maintain, organize, and update all technical records, including blueprints, process sheets, engineering changes (ECRs/ECOs), and maintenance logs, ensuring compliance and easy access.
• Data Management: Accurately enter and manage data related to production performance, quality checks, and process variables into the relevant enterprise or manufacturing execution systems (ERP/MES).
• Logistics & Scheduling: Coordinate the procurement of technical supplies and spare parts; manage departmental calendars, schedules, and prepare routine reports and presentations for the engineering team.

II. Process Improvement & Problem Solving (Core Executive Functions)

• Process Optimization: Analyze current manufacturing processes, identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks, and design/implement technical solutions to enhance productivity and reduce scrap/rework rates.
• Root Cause Analysis: Lead the investigation and resolution of complex technical failures, quality defects, or operational challenges using structured problem-solving methodologies (e.g., 5 Whys, Fishbone).
• Project Execution: Execute small to medium-scale technical projects, such as tooling modifications, equipment integration, or process trials, ensuring timely delivery and budgetary adherence.

III. Quality Assurance & Compliance (Shared Responsibility)

• Standards Adherence: Monitor operations to ensure strict adherence to internal quality standards, customer specifications, and industry requirements (e.g., IATF 16949).
• Technical Support: Provide direct technical assistance to production operators and maintenance staff regarding equipment operation, calibration, and troubleshooting.
