The Technical Assistant supports the engineering and technical team by managing project documentation, tracking equipment records, coordinating inspections and mobilization activities, assisting with HSE and permit requirements, and providing operational support to ensure smooth project execution and compliance with standards, mobilise and demobilise from the designated base in accordance with operational requirements while also performing ad-hoc tasks assigned by the superior or management.

1) Key Responsibilities

Documentation & Reporting

• Assist in preparing project technical documents, reports, and drawings.
• Maintain filing and tracking systems for tools, manuals, and records.

Equipment & Inspection Support

• Track equipment maintenance schedules and usage records.
• Support technicians and engineers with documentation and inspections.
• Report equipment issues or service needs.

On-site Coordination

• Provide on-site coordination support during inspections, mobilization, or handover.
• Assist in HSE documentation and permit applications.

3) Authorities

• Validate basic technical data and equipment checklists.
• Coordinate with admin and logistics for material/equipment dispatch.
• Report equipment issues or service needs.

4) Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Engineering or related field.
• Experience: 1-3 years' experience in technical or project support roles.
• Language: Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia (written and spoken).
• Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with construction and machinery environments is an advantage.
