Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. in Penang, Malaysia, seeks a STPG Tactical IE Manager to drive short-to-mid-term optimization, cost efficiency, and material supply alignment across NAND and SSD manufacturing.

The role partners with POM, GSC, EEM, PDT, and Manufacturing to translate demand into wafer, capacity, and cost strategies, leading data-driven decision making with SQL and ML techniques.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Science or Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years’ experience working on product planning in sophisticated technology company.
• Deep understanding of product planning from Development to New Product Introduction to High Volume Manufacturing to End of Life.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills in cross-functional setups.

Responsibilities

• Drive tactical IE and inventory management optimization and supply alignment across NAND and SSD manufacturing.
• Ensure datasets (Master Data, ENTBOM, wafer map, etc.) are ready by partners before demand loading.
• Lead cross-functional workstreams for NPIs with E2E mindset and risk mitigation.
• Install automation to ensure correct material deployment for demand at the right time and manage material disposition.
