ROTAREX MALAYSIA SDN BHD is seeking a System Application Engineer (fresh graduates welcome) to bridge Sales and Production, translating customer requirements into technical solutions and quotations with hands‑on field support during installation and commissioning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering, Mechanical or E&E preferred.
• Strong listening and customer-service abilities.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple requests simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complex System Design and technical drawings for customers, with Sales and Product Management coordination.
• Prepare system hydraulic calculations for Total Flooding systems.
• Support the sales team in developing technical solutions to prepare customer quotations.
• Initiate preparation of technical documents (descriptions, drawings, etc.) to kick off in-house production and delivery lead times.
• Support the Account Manager or Sales Manager during sales meetings and tender preparation.
• Check final order and sales contract against the initial quotation and clarify or resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain efficient and reliable quotes administration and records.
• Supervise installation and commissioning for specific projects, ensuring customer QC requirements are met and coordinating maintenance by third parties.
• Serve as the main point of contact for customers requiring technical field support.

Key responsibilities

TECHNICAL SALES SUPPORT

Prepare complex System Design and technical drawings for the customers, in coordination with the Sales and Product Management teams.

Prepare system Hydraulic calculation for Total Flooding systems.

Support the sales team in developing technical solutions to prepare customer quotations.

Initiate preparation of technical documents (descriptions, drawings etc.) to kick off the in-house production process and delivery lead time.

Support the Account Manager or Sales Manager during sales meetings and tender preparation.

Check final order and sales contract against the initial quotation and clarify or resolve any discrepancies.

Maintain efficient and reliable quotes administration and records.

TECHNICAL FIELD SUPPORT

Supervise installation and commissioning for specific projects, ensuring customer quality control requirements are met and coordinating maintenance procedures carried out by third parties.

Serve as the main point of contact for specific customers requiring technical field support.

About you

Min Higher Diploma or bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical/ E&E Engineering preferred)

Excellent active listening and customer service skills.

Willingness to travel for fieldwork from time to time.

Experience in the fire protection industry or a general understanding of industrial companies is an asset.
