WAWASAN EHSAN JAYA SDN. BHD. is seeking a qualified Surveyor for our Klang, Selangor based team. This full-time role focuses on accurate site surveys, topographical assessments, and preparing detailed survey plans to support construction projects.

You will set out building lines, perform boundary surveys, record site conditions, and collaborate with architects, engineers and project managers to ensure survey requirements are met. A relevant qualification and field experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Recognised qualification in surveying (National Diploma or Degree).
• Membership or eligibility for membership with a professional surveying body.
• 3+ years of experience as a Surveyor in construction.
• Proficiency with surveying software and CAD tools.
• Experience using total stations, GPS and laser levels.
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.
• Knowledge of building regulations, planning requirements and surveying standards.
• Physical fitness to work on-site and willingness to travel to project locations.

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Surveyor to join WAWASAN EHSAN JAYA SDN. BHD., a respected organisation within the construction and surveying sector. This is a full‑time position based in Klang, Selangor. As a Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and quality of construction projects by conducting comprehensive surveys, measurements, and assessments. This position is essential to our operations, as you will provide the technical expertise required to support project planning, design, and execution whilst maintaining compliance with all relevant standards and regulations.

What you’ll be doing

Conducting site surveys and topographical assessments to gather accurate data for construction projects

Preparing detailed survey plans, drawings, and reports using specialised surveying software and equipment

Setting out building lines, levels, and other reference points on construction sites

Performing boundary surveys and establishing property demarcations

Measuring and recording site dimensions, ground conditions, and structural features

Collaborating with architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure survey requirements are met

Identifying potential site constraints and recommending solutions to project teams

Maintaining accurate records and documentation of all survey work completed

Conducting quality checks on survey data and ensuring compliance with industry standards

Utilising advanced surveying instruments and technology to enhance accuracy and efficiency

What we’re looking for

A recognised qualification in surveying, such as a National Diploma or Degree in Surveying or a related discipline

Membership or eligibility for membership with a professional surveying body

Proven experience working as a Surveyor in the construction industry, preferably 3+ years

Proficiency with surveying software and computer-aided design (CAD) tools

Competency in using modern surveying equipment, including total stations, GPS systems, and laser levels

Strong mathematical and analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail

Excellent communication abilities and the capacity to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams

A thorough understanding of building regulations, planning requirements, and surveying standards

Physical fitness and ability to work on-site in varying weather conditions

A valid driving licence and willingness to travel to various project locations

Problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and take initiative
