Job summary

West Borneo Construction Sdn Bhd is seeking a qualified Quantity Surveyor for our Kuching, Sarawak headquarters. In this full-time role you will manage project costs, prepare tender documents, and handle progress claims for ongoing projects to ensure timely, on-budget delivery.

You will collaborate with project managers, engineers and subcontractors, oversee variations and final accounts, and contribute to accurate costing across pre- and post-contract activities.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying.
• At least 3 years working experience in quantity surveying.
• Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, MS Project.

Responsibilities

• Pre-Contract / Tender - Calling quotation, preparing costing and tender preparation for Tender submission.
• Post Contract - Preparing Progress claim, Progress Report, Progress Payment for Sub-Contractor, Variation Order and Final Account for on-going project.

Any other task assigned by immediate supervisor from time to time.

Requirement

Degree in Quantity Surveying.

At least 3 years working experience in the related field.

Responsibility, good working attitude and self-motivated.

Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Required skills: AutoCAD, MS Office, MS Project.
