Job summary

Guocera Sdn Bhd is seeking a Supply Planner to lead the planning function and translate demand into executable production and material plans. You will coordinate with Demand Planning, Sales, Production, Warehouse, Procurement, and Logistics to ensure timely, accurate plans and optimal inventory levels.

The role requires strong leadership, analytical capabilities, and experience with ERP/MRP systems and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the supply planning team to ensure timely and accurate supply plans.
• Develop and maintain supply plans based on demand forecasts, sales orders, inventory levels, and production capacity.
• Coordinate closely with Demand Planning, Sales, Production, Warehouse, Procurement, and Logistics to ensure smooth supply execution.
• Monitor inventory levels and recommend actions to maintain optimum stock levels and minimize excess or shortage.
• Review production capacity and identify potential supply constraints, bottlenecks, and risks.
• Manage and prioritize urgent or last-minute orders while balancing overall production and inventory requirements.
• Monitor supply plan performance and take corrective actions when there are deviations.
• Provide regular updates on supply status, potential shortages, and recovery plans to management and relevant stakeholders.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve planning accuracy, inventory efficiency, and supply chain performance.
• Coach and develop Supply Planners to strengthen their planning, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Prepare and present supply planning reports, KPIs, and analysis to management.

Job description

To ensure the right product and production capacity at the right time. To lead supply planning across the production capacity and material. Translating demand into executable plans that support business grow and ensure uninterrupted supply.

Supply planning also need to coordinating production requirements, material availability and customer demand. The Supply Planner is responsible for developing and maintaining supply plans to ensure products are available on time, while optimizing inventory levels.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead and manage the supply planning team to ensure timely and accurate supply plans.

Develop and maintain supply plans based on demand forecasts, sales orders, inventory levels, and production capacity.
