Job summary

Frencken Mechatronics (M) Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a Supply Chain Operations Assistant (Temporary) to support the Supply Chain and Operations teams with monitoring critical parts, preparing daily/weekly reports, and coordinating with Operation Buyers to ensure timely material resolution.

The role requires a Diploma/Degree in relevant field and up to 2 years' experience, with strong Excel/Office skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-growing

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in SCM, Operations, Business Admin, Logistics, or related field.
• 0–2 years of relevant experience; fresh graduates welcome.
• Good communication, coordination, and follow-up skills.
• Proficient with MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Strong attention to detail; able to work independently.
• Experience in manufacturing or ERP/SAP knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain daily/weekly supply chain reports.
• Monitor outstanding and critical parts status.
• Follow up with Operation Buyers on overdue and critical materials.
• Coordinate with Operations/Production teams on material availability.
• Track and update outstanding issues and follow-up actions.
• Highlight potential material shortages and delivery delays.
• Support other Supply Chain and Operations activities as required.

Requirements

Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Experience in a manufacturing environment or knowledge of ERP/SAP is an advantage.
