Job summary

Talent Recruit is seeking a Supply Chain Executive (Systems Focus) in Malaysia to support the implementation of a new ERP system. The role suits detail-oriented candidates with strong data management skills and a solid understanding of supply chain processes.

You will manage master data, support data integration for end-to-end planning, and help maintain system performance across ERP modules, with training responsibilities for internal teams.

Qualifications

• Data entry and master data maintenance for materials, suppliers, customers, and routing in the ERP system.
• Collect, update, and integrate data for end-to-end supply chain planning.
• Ensure smooth operation of supply chain software systems.
• Test, upgrade, and implement new ERP modules or enhancements.
• Develop SOPs, user manuals, and training materials for ERP use.
• Provide end-user training to internal teams.
• Coordinate with production to align material availability with schedules.
• Maintain accurate ERP records and ensure SOP/safety compliance.

Job description

A growing manufacturing group is looking for a Supply Chain Executive (Systems Focus) to support the implementation of a new ERP system. This role is ideal for detail-oriented candidates with strong data management skills and a basic understanding of supply chain processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Management & System Maintenance

• Perform accurate data entry and maintain master data for materials, suppliers, customers, and routing information in the ERP system.
• Collect, update, and integrate data for end-to-end supply chain planning.
• Ensure the smooth and efficient operation of supply chain software systems.

Reporting & Analysis

• Compile and update supply chain data for planning and reporting.
• Analyze system data to identify inefficiencies, track performance, and generate reports for decision-making.

System Support & Training

• Support system testing, upgrades, and implementation of new modules or enhancements.
• Develop SOPs, user manuals, and training materials related to ERP use.
• Provide end-user training to internal teams.

Coordination & Compliance

• Work closely with the production team to align material availability with production schedules.
• Maintain accurate records through the ERP system.
• Ensure compliance with internal SOPs and safety standards.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
• Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience as Supply Chain/Planner/Buyer/Purchaser/Warehouse Executive within manufacturing industry.
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) is an advantage
• Experience with ERP/WMS system
• Strong coordination, communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and inventory control.
• Monday Friday: 8:30am to6:00pm
• Annual Leave: 12 days (pro-rated)
