Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a detail-oriented Supply Chain Coordinator to supervise receiving, warehousing and transport operations in Selangor. You will coordinate orders, ensure timely Sub-Con materials, monitor stock movements and enforce SOP compliance.

You will lead a team, liaise with suppliers, and prepare reports; 3+ years in automotive supply chain is preferred. A Diploma/Degree in SCM or Logistics is required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Supply Chain Management or Logistics is required.
• Minimum 3 years experience in supply chain/logistics/transport, preferably in automotive manufacturing.
• Solid knowledge of transport and supply chain management best practices.

Responsibilities

• Check, organize and control work orders for delivery instruction, warehousing and transport controls.
• Supervise subordinates on work/task arrangement and orders during sectional briefings.
• Coordinate parts/material flow to Sub-Con in a timely manner.
• Arrange proper incoming and receiving methods for the Receiving Section.
• Update stock movements and status of materials/child parts regularly.
• Monitor stock to prevent shortage or stock-out of key items.
• Ensure material handling equipment and packaging are safe and in good condition.
• Prepare and submit reports on receiving, stock movement and related activities.
• Monitor SOP-compliance and suggest process improvements.
• Track loose parts and raw material stock status.
• Issue monthly orders for loose parts, raw material and Sub-Con.
• Issue delivery instructions to suppliers on a monthly basis.
• Ensure adequate transport capacity for parts collection.
• Provide training and development to subordinates.

• Check, organize and control the work orders for delivery instruction, warehousing and transport controls.
• Check the subordinates on work/task arrangement and orders during sectional briefings.
• Check the parts or material to Sub-Con in a timely manner.
• Arrange proper incoming and receiving methods for the Receiving Section.
• Update the material or child parts stock movement and their status from time to time.
• Focus on the materials requiring special attention or close monitoring to avoid shortage / stock-out.
• Ensure the material handling equipment / facilities and packaging/packing are in good working conditions and safe for use.
• Prepare and/or submit necessary reports regarding receiving or incoming material or parts or generally stock movement as required by the department.
• Monitor the routine work carried out according to the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) and recommend improvement wherever applicable.
• Monitor all loose parts and raw material stock status.
• Responsible for issuing monthly orders of loose parts, raw material and Sub-Con.
• Advise Delivery Instruction to all suppliers based monthly.
• Responsible for ensuring sufficient transport supply by transporter for collection parts.
• Training and development to all subordinates.
• Incoming parts transaction monitoring.
• Participate in small group activities for improvement or new model development.
• Ensure workplace for operation is safe and 3S compliance.

Key Requirement

• Diploma/Degree in Supply Chain Management or Logistics
• Minimum 3 years experience in supply chain/logistic/transport environment especially in automotive manufacturing companies
• Excellent knowledge in supply chain and transport
