Jora Malaysia is seeking a proactive procurement professional to manage supplier relationships, create accurate purchase orders, and monitor supplier on‑time delivery in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
You will coordinate with Production, Planning, Logistics and other departments to prevent shortages, resolve delivery or quality issues, reconcile invoices, and provide weekly updates to the Head of Department.

Manage suppliers to ensure competitive quality, cost, delivery and service.
Build and maintain good supplier relationships and monitor supplier performance.
Create and manage Purchase Orders (POs) accurately in compliance with company procedures.
Follow up on supplier Order Confirmations and ensure delivery dates are updated in the ERP system.
Monitor supplier On-Time Delivery (OTD) and expedite urgent or delayed orders.
Manage delivery rescheduling, pull-in and cancellation based on customer demand.
Work closely with suppliers to resolve quality, delivery and supply issues.
Conduct regular PO reconciliation with suppliers to ensure accuracy.
Coordinate with Production, Planning, Logistics and other departments to prevent material shortages and supply disruptions.
Coordinate with Logistics to ensure timely shipment and arrival of purchased parts.
Monitor and follow up on Return to Vendor (RTV) activities.
Monitor purchased parts receipt and resolve supplier invoice discrepancies.
Provide weekly procurement updates and elevate supply chain issues to the Head of Department.
Support the Head of Department in ad hoc assignments and improvement initiatives.
Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Supply Chain Management or Business related; or at least
1 to 2 years of related experience and training; or equivalent combination of education and
experience.
Good knowledge and understanding of procurement and supply chain management processes.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable working with ERP systems.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with good attention to detail.
Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Good negotiation and supplier management skills.
Able to work independently with minimum supervision and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
