Job summary

Jora Malaysia seeks to strengthen its supply chain leadership, overseeing daily SCM activities, production planning, logistics and warehouse operations. The role focuses on improving SCM systems, implementing robust policies, and driving continuous improvement across multiple plants in different countries.

The ideal candidate will lead strategic SCM plans, optimize inventory management, and enhance service quality while reducing costs.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing day-to-day supply chain management (SCM) in an efficient and cost-focused manner.
• Ensure production planning, logistics and warehouse operations run smoothly and efficiently.
• Continually improve SCM systems, processes, best practices, aligned with business goals.
• Lead to establish robust SCM policy, standards, procedures and continuous improvement across plants in different countries.
• Create and implement strategic plans to maintain and improve SCM efficiency, service quality and cost leverage.
• Drive to optimize S&OP for SCM operations and inventory management.
• Conduct root cause analysis related to daily operations performance, customer complaints and process inefficiencies.
• Manage data collection for metrics to achieve low production changeover, target inventory levels, and on-time delivery.

• Manage data collection for the updating of metrics to achieve low production changeover, ideal inventory targets, reduce storage cost, on time delivery, eliminate errors, and deliver excellent customer service
