Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field; or 2 years of related working experience in supplier qualification, supplier quality and quality management; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of 2-4 years of working experience in Supplier Management.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 13485, and AS9100 quality management standards.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and failure analysis skills.
• Good communication, negotiation, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Can work independently with minimal supervision, and organize tasks effectively.

Responsibilities

• Qualify and approve new suppliers through audits and supplier buy-off activities.
• Lead team to achieve quality objectives targets.
• Monitor and resolve supplier quality issues (incoming, FAI, and assembly processes).
• Evaluate supplier processes, quality systems, and corrective actions to ensure compliance.
• Track and qualify or disqualify suppliers according to KMWE's standards.
• Maintain Q-Note/CPAR records for parts returned to suppliers (incoming/assembly rejects).
• Conduct supplier audits, process verification, and performance reviews.
• Work closely with Procurement, Engineering, Manufacturing, and QA to improve supplier quality and reduce costs.
• Drive supplier corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to ensure effective issue resolution.
• Lead supplier quality review meetings and maintain strong supplier relationships.
• Develop supplier quality programs, KPIs, and supplier rating systems for continuous improvement.
• Support superior with ad-hoc tasks.
