Job summary

Advanced Network Solutions Sdn Bhd is seeking a dedicated Supervisor - Epoxy to join the Production, Planning and Scheduling team at our Subang Airport, Selangor facility. Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in epoxy manufacturing or similar chemical production environments.
• Strong knowledge of epoxy formulation, processing and quality standards.
• Diploma or higher in Engineering, Manufacturing or related discipline (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage daily operations of the epoxy production department.
• Ensure epoxy products meet quality standards through quality control procedures.
• Plan and schedule production runs to meet deadlines while minimising waste.
• Train and develop production staff with emphasis on safety and efficiency.
• Monitor equipment performance and coordinate maintenance to prevent downtime.
• Maintain detailed production metrics, material usage and staff performance records.
• Identify process improvements to boost productivity and reduce costs.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Liaise with other departments to coordinate material supply, scheduling and delivery logistics.
• Report production performance and variances to senior management.

About the role

Advanced Network Solutions Sdn Bhd is seeking a dedicated and experienced Supervisor - Epoxy to join our Production, Planning and Scheduling team. This is a full-time position based at our facility in Subang Airport, Selangor. In this supervisory role, you will oversee epoxy production operations, ensuring quality standards are maintained whilst optimising efficiency and productivity. You will play a crucial part in our manufacturing operations, managing teams and processes to meet production targets and delivery schedules. This position offers the opportunity to lead a skilled workforce and directly impact the success of our operations within the manufacturing and logistics sector.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and manage the daily operations of the epoxy production department, including monitoring workflow and resource allocation
• Ensure all epoxy products meet quality standards and specifications through rigorous quality control procedures
• Plan and schedule production runs to meet customer deadlines whilst minimising waste and optimising resource utilisation
• Train, mentor and develop production staff, fostering a culture of safety, efficiency and continuous improvement
• Monitor equipment performance and coordinate maintenance activities to prevent downtime
• Maintain detailed records of production metrics, material usage and staff performance for reporting purposes
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce costs
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies across all production activities
• Liaise with other departments to coordinate material supply, scheduling and delivery logistics
• Report on production performance, variances and recommendations to senior management

What we're looking for

• Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in epoxy manufacturing or similar chemical production environments
• Strong knowledge of epoxy formulation, processing and quality standards applicable to the industry
• Proven experience in production planning, scheduling and inventory management
• Excellent leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members
• In-depth understanding of health, safety and environmental (HSE) regulations and best practices
• Proficiency in production management systems and Microsoft Office applications
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving operational issues
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively at all levels
• Diploma or higher qualification in Engineering, Manufacturing or a related discipline (preferred)
• Certification in supervisory management or lean manufacturing (advantageous)
