Job summary

Vitaltechnical in Rawang is seeking a Production Plan & Maintenance Coordinator to ensure smooth operation of mixing and extrusion lines, meeting schedules and quality targets.

You will plan manpower, supervise line activities, perform preventive maintenance, manage materials and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver on time and maintain ISO 9001/14001 standards. Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English, able to work with minimal supervision and handle overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• 2–5 years in manufacturing (production planning, machine troubleshooting, or line supervision).
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Ensure optimum operation of mixing and extrusion lines to meet production schedules, quality and productivity requirements.

Job description

Ensure optimum operation of the mixing and extrusion lines to meet the production schedules, quality and productivity requirement.

Plan the manpower and work schedules effectively to meet delivery deadline.

Perform scheduled checking, inspection and preventive maintenance on machines, including troubleshooting and minor repair of machines.

Ensure minimum downtime with close monitoring on production activities.

Manage raw material inputs, track outgoing finished goods, and maintain ISO 9001/14001 safety and quality standards.

Ensure all work processes are in accordance to all regulatory and safety standards subscribed by the Company.

Your responsibilities will require you to communicate with various stakeholders from both internally within the Company or Group of Companies and externally with our business partners.

Requirements

Background:

Diploma / Degree in Engineering or its equivalent from a recognized institution of higher learning.

Experience:

2 to 5 years in a manufacturing environment (preferably in production planning, machine troubleshooting, or line supervision).

Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Knowledge & Skill:

Excellent time management and organisation skills, meticulous and delivers quality work.

Strong floor presence, proficiency in MS Excel / MS Office, and exposure to SAP or production planning systems (an added advantage).

Proven ability to stay composed under pressure, maintain authority on the floor, and manage tight deadlines.

A highly motivated individual who is willing to take initiatives and follow up with details.

Able to work with minimal supervision and at times independently.

Fluent in spoken Bahasa Malaysia and English to effectively lead diverse worker groups.

Good supervisory, interpersonal and able to communicate with all levels.

Willingness to work in Rawang, with availability for overtime and Saturday operational coverage.
