Job summary

UEM Edgenta Berhad seeks a Facilities Operations Supervisor to manage day-to-day cleaning operations and ensure upkeep of cleaning-related facilities within the Kuala Lumpur building complex.

You will supervise cleaning vendors and personnel, conduct quality inspections, provide in-house training, and ensure safety, equipment, and supply management while supporting the Facility Manager during emergencies.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Facilities Management, Building Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in cleaning operations, building management, or facilities management.
• Experience supervising cleaning personnel or managing cleaning vendors.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day cleaning operations across building facilities.
• Supervise cleaning vendors and personnel, including attendance and standards.
• Perform regular quality inspections to meet schedules, SLAs, and KPIs.
• Provide in-house training on quality, safety, procedures, and scope of services.
• Ensure cleaning equipment, PPE, and chemicals are safe and compliant.
• Monitor inventories and stock levels, ensuring adequate supplies.
• Handle cleaning-related complaints with proper records and corrective actions.
• Support vendor management, finance, communications, compliance, and safety matters.

• Supervise cleaning vendors and personnel, including attendance, punctuality, uniforms, work standards, and compliance with contract requirements.
• Conduct regular quality control inspections to ensure cleaning services meet approved schedules, specifications, SLAs, and KPIs.
• Provide in-house training to cleaning teams on quality, safety, work procedures, and scope of services.
• Ensure all cleaning equipment, chemicals, PPE, and supplies are safe, properly maintained, and compliant with relevant standards.
• Monitor cleaning inventories and stock levels, ensuring adequate supplies are available and properly recorded.
• Manage cleaning-related complaints, maintain proper records, and ensure corrective actions are taken promptly.
• Support vendor management, financial administration, customer communications, compliance, and site health and safety matters, including assisting the Facility Manager during emergencies.
