Job summary

Popoland in Kuala Lumpur and Puchong seeks a Supervisor to lead daily floor operations across playground and immersive LED zones, guiding crew, ensuring safety, and maintaining service standards. You will be assigned to KL and Puchong outlets based on needs.

Responsibilities include opening/closing checks, training crew, scheduling, and handling guest enquiries with a friendly, professional approach. Prior supervisory experience and bilingual communication are preferred.

Qualifications

• SPM or diploma in hospitality, business or related field.
• 1–2 years in a supervisory or team-lead role in retail, F&B, hospitality, entertainment or customer-facing environment.
• Good English and Bahasa Malaysia communication; Mandarin is an advantage.
• Patient, approachable, and comfortable working with children and families.
• Willing to work shifts, weekends, school holidays and public holidays.
• Willing to work in KL and Puchong; own transport preferred.

• Ensure all play equipment, LED systems, and interactive installations are operated safely and correctly

• Enforce safety rules and SOPs, and respond calmly and quickly to incidents
• Welcome guests and handle enquiries, feedback, and complaints in a friendly, professional way
• Support birthday parties, group visits, school trips, and special events
• Train new crew members and coach them on service standards and procedures
• Prepare crew schedules and attendance records with the Assistant Manager

Job description

As Supervisor, you will lead the daily floor operations at our outlets, covering both the playground and immersive LED zones. You'll guide and support the crew, maintain safety and service standards, and step in wherever needed to keep things running smoothly. You will be assigned to our KL and Puchong outlets, depending on operational needs.

Key responsibilities

About you

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a supervisory or team-lead role in retail, F&B, hospitality, entertainment, or a customer-facing environment
• Good communication and leadership skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is an added advantage
• Patient and approachable, comfortable working with children and families
• Quick learner with the ability to operate basic POS and LED/technical equipment after training
• Able to stay calm under pressure and handle situations responsibly
• Willing to work shifts, weekends, school holidays, and public holidays on a rotating basis
• Willing to work in both KL and Puchong; own transport preferred
