Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or a related discipline from an accredited institution.
• 3-5 years of experience in civil or structural engineering roles, preferably in design, analysis or project implementation.
• Proficiency in structural analysis software such as SAP2000, ETABS, AutoCAD or equivalent tools.
• Strong understanding of building codes, design standards and safety regulations applicable to construction projects.
• Excellent technical drawing and documentation skills with attention to detail.
• Solid knowledge of materials, construction methods and structural principles.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate technical information clearly to diverse audiences.
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Professional Engineer (PE) registration or equivalent certification is advantageous
• Experience with Building Information Modelling (BIM) is desirable

Responsibilities

• Conduct structural analysis and design calculations using industry-standard software and methodologies to support project requirements
• Prepare detailed technical drawings, specifications and documentation for civil and structural engineering projects
• Perform site inspections and assessments to identify technical requirements and potential challenges
• Collaborate with project managers, architects and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery
• Monitor project progress and ensure compliance with design specifications, building codes and safety regulations
• Assist in the preparation of technical reports, proposals and cost estimates for clients
• Contribute to continuous improvement of engineering processes and standards within the organisation
• Support senior engineers in troubleshooting technical issues and implementing solutions
• Maintain accurate project documentation and maintain organised technical records
