Job summary

Dyntek Marketing Sdn Bhd in Bukit Mertajam, Penang, is hiring a Technical Engineer for a full-time role. You will provide civil and structural engineering technical support, assist design, analysis and documentation, and liaise with clients and contractors to ensure compliant, on-time delivery.

The ideal candidate holds a degree or diploma in Civil or Structural Engineering, with 2–3 years of hands-on experience, proficiency in CAD and industry software, and a solid understanding of local codes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or closely related discipline.
• Professional qualification or registration with engineering bodies (e.g., PEng or IEM) is desirable.
• 2–3 years of experience as a Technical Engineer or in a similar role within civil/structural engineering.
• Proficiency with engineering design software and CAD applications.
• Good knowledge of building codes, standards and regulations in Malaysia.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work across multidisciplinary teams.
• Willingness to undertake site visits and travel as required by project needs.

Responsibilities

About the role

We are seeking a Technical Engineer to join Dyntek Marketing Sdn Bhd in a full-time capacity, based in Bukit Mertajam, Penang. This role is pivotal in delivering technical expertise and support across our civil and structural engineering projects. As a Technical Engineer, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the successful design, analysis, and implementation of engineering solutions that meet our clients' requirements and industry standards. This position offers the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to projects that shape our built environment whilst working within a collaborative and innovative team.

Key responsibilities

What we’re looking for

• A recognised degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or a closely related discipline
• Professional qualification or registration with relevant engineering bodies (such as PEng or IEM) is highly desirable
• Proven experience of at least 2-3 years working as a Technical Engineer or in a similar role within civil or structural engineering
• Proficiency with engineering design software and CAD applications commonly used in the industry
• Sound knowledge of building codes, standards and regulations applicable to civil and structural engineering in Malaysia
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with meticulous attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams
• A commitment to health, safety and environmental compliance
• Willingness to undertake site visits and occasional travel as required by project needs
