Job summary

Mila Asia Sdn Bhd is seeking a Structural Engineer to join our team in Malaysia. You will lead structural analysis and design for building and civil projects, contributing to digital engineering initiatives including BIM and AI-Digital Twin technologies.

We value hands-on problem-solving, strong technical ability, and leadership skills to collaborate with the technology team and deliver well-structured engineering solutions aligned with Malaysian codes and standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant structural engineering experience.
• Strong expertise in structural analysis and design.
• Good knowledge of Malaysian codes and engineering standards.
• Proficiency in structural analysis and design software.
• Strong technical, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Undertake structural analysis and design with the team.
• Review and verify structural calculations, drawings and technical reports.
• Develop practical, efficient and technically sound engineering solutions.
• Ensure designs comply with relevant Malaysian codes and engineering standards.
• Participate in structural engineering research, testing and technical development.
• Work closely with the technology team to translate engineering knowledge into digital engineering solutions.
• Learn and apply BIM workflows and digital engineering tools through structured on-the-job training.
• Contribute to the development of MiLA's future engineering, BIM and AI-Digital Twin technologies.
