Jurutera JRK Sdn Bhd in Johor Bahru is seeking a Civil & Structural Engineer to develop, review, and submit civil and structural designs in line with client requirements and local codes. You will liaise with authorities, prepare calculation reports, and ensure timely project progress.

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of work experience in an engineering consultancy firm.
• Experience with large-scale civil and structural projects is an advantage.
• Familiar with local authorities' requirements for design plans submission and approval.

Responsibilities

• Develop, prepare and/or review engineering plans and designs for civil and structural works.
• Prepare design calculation reports and drawings for authorities’ submissions.
• Attend and comply to the technical comments from authorities.
• Coordinate with clients and authorities to resolve project issues.
• Monitor and ensure work progress is on schedule.
• Attend technical meetings and site meetings with consultants.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
