Job summary

Mettler Toledo International, Inc. invites you to join our Sales and Marketing team in Bayan Lepas, Penang. You will build and manage a robust sales pipeline, engage with MT’s product solutions, and drive customer growth across MNC/SME segments.

The role demands a technical background, proven sales experience, and willingness to travel. You will collaborate with engineering teams and contribute to market expansion and strategic campaigns.

Qualifications

• Degree/Diploma in Engineering (Electrical/Mechatronic preferred)
• Knowledge of Control Instrumentation (sensors, transmitters)
• 3+ years in technical sales environment
• Self-starter with proactive approach
• Understanding of sales & distribution with project management skills
• Willing to travel
• Strong interpersonal skills and influencing ability
• Valid driving license
• Industrial equipment sales experience is a plus
• Understanding of manufacturing workflows and architecture is favorable

Responsibilities

• Increase qualified customer database for targeted segments
• Follow up on sales leads and respond swiftly to customer inquiries
• Provide consultation on MT’s product solutions and applications
• Secure new customers in MT’s target sectors and tailor solutions
• Expand market awareness and manage projects and customer relationships
• Manage existing accounts and update sales pipelines
• Qualify and update CRM records and establish new accounts
• Present MT products and technical information to customers
