Job summary

Private Advertiser in Johor Bahru is seeking a Purchasing Executive to source, negotiate, and purchase materials, products, and services at competitive prices. You will manage supplier relationships, monitor deliveries, and maintain optimal inventory levels across warehouse, production, and logistics teams.

The role requires 2-3 years of purchasing experience, strong negotiation and communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Supply Chain Management, Purchasing, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 2-3 years of purchasing/procurement experience.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Experience with ERP systems is an advantage.
• Able to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Source, negotiate, and purchase materials, products, and services at competitive prices.
• Issue Purchase Orders (PO) and monitor delivery schedules to ensure timely supply.
• Liaise with suppliers on pricing, quality, delivery, and payment matters.
• Maintain optimal inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse, production, and logistics teams.
• Evaluate supplier performance and develop alternative sourcing strategies.
• Monitor market trends and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Ensure purchasing activities comply with company policies and procedures.
• Prepare purchasing reports and maintain accurate procurement records.
