Job summary

Hirehub Group is seeking a procurement professional in Johor, Malaysia to source, evaluate, and select suppliers for data center manufacturing materials. You will negotiate terms, prepare purchase orders, and monitor supplier performance to ensure timely delivery and cost savings.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years in purchasing within manufacturing, strong negotiation and communication skills, and familiarity with ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Degree/Diploma in Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field
• 2-5 years of purchasing experience, preferably in manufacturing or site project
• Strong negotiation and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Source, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, cost, delivery, and service criteria
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and contracts with vendors and subcontractors
• Prepare and issue purchase orders in accordance with company policies and procedures
• Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong vendor relationships
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and project teams to understand material requirements and specifications
• Track order status to ensure timely delivery and address any delays or issues
• Evaluate market trends and alternative materials to drive cost-saving initiatives
• Maintain accurate records of procurement activities and supplier documentation
• Ensure compliance with company standards and relevant industry regulations
