Private Advertiser in Pasir Gudang, Johor seeks a Purchasing Executive to coordinate procurement for manufacturing operations and ensure materials arrive on time.

Responsibilities include sourcing materials, negotiating prices, maintaining safety stocks, issuing POs, and coordinating with production, warehouse and finance.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s in Business or Supply Chain, has 3+ years planning experience, and strong communication skills in English, Malay and Mandarin.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management, or Planning.
• At least 3 years of experience as a Planner in supply chain management.
• Strong negotiation and planning skills.
• Excellent understanding of manufacturing processes and materials.
• Creative problem solving and attention to detail.
• Excellent time management and ability to handle multiple projects.
• Open to candidates from diverse backgrounds.
• Language proficiency: English, Malay and Mandarin.

Responsabilidades

• Procure materials and services to support production.
• Review materials shortages and maintain safety stocks.
• Coordinate with stakeholders on quotations, lead times and provisioning.
• Issue purchase orders and liaise with production, warehouse and finance.
• Collaborate with QC and Design on changes and quality issues.
• Attend production meetings and vendor performance reviews.
• Support special projects as required.
