Job summary

Boston Scientific in Malaysia is seeking a procurement professional to source raw materials, components, tooling, and services, ensuring 100% customer service level while meeting quality and cost objectives. You will support sourcing strategies and assist in supplier negotiations.

Responsibilities include performing purchasing procedures, engaging local and international suppliers, maintaining supplier performance, and driving continuous improvement in raw material processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of working experience in Supply Chain, Planning, Logistics, or related functions.
• Experience with SAP and Kinaxis RapidResponse is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Highly detail-oriented with strong data accuracy focus.
• Ability to analyze supply chain data and support operational decision-making.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform all raw materials purchasing procedures.
• He/she will contact local and international providers for the supply of merchandise.
• Maintain good relations with providers of raw materials.
• Assess raw materials provider performance periodically.
• Evaluate and select the company´s raw material providers.
• Maintain the cost-quality relation, pursuing the maximum savings for the company.
• Satisfy established raw material inventory levels.
• Execute the complete raw material purchase cycle, from definition of the requirement to receiving the merchandise.
• Generate continuous improvement projects for processes related to raw material purchases.
